Grant Writing and Projects
The Office for Grant Writing & Projects facilitates and promotes research, both scientific and creative, at Ohio University.
The Office oversees various internal award programs and provides assistance to faculty, staff and students. Services include proposal coordination, development and writing assistance. Through the annual Student and Research and Creative Activity Expo the office helps to showcase undergraduate, graduate and medical student research. With the assistance of the Council for Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity, the office generates reports on the status, needs of and opportunities for research at the university.

These programs are designed to support faculty, staff and students during the various stages of their research -- from idea conception to implementation to dissemination and presentation.
Grant Writing
The Office offers assistance to faculty, staff and students related to proposal writing. Services include:
- identification and coordination of collaborators
- assistance in interpretation of guidelines, including interaction with funding agencies
- proposal preparation, including writing and formatting
- tailored classes and seminars on grant proposal preparation
